Promise Community Health Center opened in Sioux Center in 2008 and operates as the only Federally Qualified Health Center serving the far northwest corner of Iowa. Promise offers medical care, prenatal care, behavioral healthcare, population health care as well as dental and vision care. Promise also offers nurse health coaching, clinical pharmacy and affordable medications, lab services and immunizations, interpretation and translation, and various other services. Promiseโ€™s outreach staff will assist you with filling out complex paperwork, help arrange for transportation or interpret for you. We help you overcome whatever barriers you may face to health care. In the future, Promise will constantly adapt to meet your health-care needs because we understand that the services you need today might not be what you need tomorrow. EVERYONE IS WELCOME
Promise is a community health center which means we aim to serve the whole community โ€“ any language, background, or insurance status. If you have a lower income and no insurance, we would love to serve you and are able to offer a discount on your services. We will also support you in any other barriers to better health. If you have insurance, we would love to serve you. By choosing Promise, you can support your community as these insurance payments can help Promiseโ€™s financial strength to continue its mission. Last week, Promise Community Health Center gathered for our annual Christmas party, and it was a night to remember! From hilarious staff-led games that had us all laughing to the absolutely incredible food from Trejo's Catering, it was the perfect way to celebrate our amazing team.

The highlight of our evening was celebrating the dedication of our staff. We were excited to present the 2025 Spirit of Promise Award to Dr. Kendra Borchers and recognize the individuals listed below for their years of service.

Promise will reduce your cost based on your ability to pay. Promise will assist you with filling out complex paperwork, help arrange for transportation or interpret for you. We will help you overcome whatever barriers you may face because we believe everyone should have access to high-quality, affordable health care.
