The highway is open for the season! We look forward to improved access for the season!

TRAFFIC ALERT: Highway 75 is opening to traffic today all the way through Sioux Center for the winter. 🎉🎉🎉

Highway 75 now has two lanes each direction from 20th St. S to about 4th St. N, then they merge to one lane each direction north of there.

🚧 The intersection of 1st Ave. NW and 5th St. NW will close when the highway opens to complete storm sewer and paving work there. 🚧

Thanks to everyone for your patience this year. A special thanks to downtown businesses for positivity and cooperation even with construction at their literal front doors. Enjoy the winter break from construction – one more year on this project to go!

Please use extra caution as drivers adjust to new traffic patterns. Watch for pedestrians at pedestrian crossings.

The Highway is open to local traffic! If you haven't seen it, the highway is now open from the Co-op to the stoplight on 9th Street just South of the office! While there was a small section open in front of the office for the last couple of months, this opens to visitors coming to the office from BOTH directions! This marks the next big step to the highway being fully open to all traffic!
