Today marks a monumental milestone: 20 years as a massage therapist! My journey began after graduating from Bio-Chi Institute in 2005. I started out at Manley Chiropractic in Le Mars, Iowa, and Fresh Hair Studio Day Spa in Sioux City. Then, I took a leap of faith and moved to sunny San Diego, California, where I worked at Dream Wellness Chiropractic, Massage Envy, Pukalani Day Spa in Del Mar, and Mirabella Mansory Day Spa in Solana Beach.

In 2009, I returned home to Iowa and launched my own business, L’Amour de Massage, which thrived for a decade. I had the privilege of working with incredible clients and supportive colleagues along the way, from Farm Bureau’s office to Bollin Chiropractic, and eventually expanding to multiple locations.

After a period of growth and learning, I moved to Sioux City and joined Mind and Body Connection, while also sharing my knowledge as a massage therapy instructor for 11 years with Bio Chi Institute. Today, I’m proud to run my current practice, The Healer Within, and it’s been a wonderful three years of healing and growth.

I’m deeply grateful to so many people who’ve supported me along the way: Nicole Gangler, who designed my first logo; Pam Hutchins of Red’s Printing, who brought my promotional materials to life; Cathy Kromenhock, who helped me design my business signage; and my amazing friend Erin Stabile, who assisted with my business app and branding today. Today marks 2 incredible years of being part of Tranquility Massage - The Ohana Studio!!!! I feel truly blessed for Molly and Kim opening their hearts and welcoming me into their space💗🌟💗🌟💗🌟 This month also celebrates 3 amazing years for my business The Healer Within!!!! I’m looking forward to many more years to come, filled with growth, learning and touching lives.

What is one thing you are very proud of that you accomplished in the many years of your life?
I’ll go first:
I have many accomplishments, but this one takes the cake.
Moving to San Diego, CA in my early twenties. I met sooo many amazing people and made a lot of memories. It takes a lot of guts to leave the familiar and to take a huge leap of Faith into the unknown🌟🌟🌟 I did it and lived there for 2 years!! It definitely helped me grow into the person I am today💗💗💗
