What a ride we took to be here!

There were so many close calls, wrong turns, and misdirected adventures.

Anyone who even takes a moment to look back should be forever grateful.

So much of that existence was focused on too many wrong things.

Our priorities were wrong, our energy was invested in the wrong places, and what we thought we knew about this so-called life, we really had no idea, did we?

Those commitments we made because that was what we thought we had to do, the relationships we sustained even though they weren't for our highest and best good, and the places we wandered into that we wandered out a different person changed us forever.

All those costumes we wore, lines we read, and shape-shifted shows we put on exhausted our time, space, and energy.

We get so far on this timeline and we realize that there is a longer period behind us than in front of us and we haven't even accomplished much of the mission we were sent here for.

We begin to peel back the layers and lean into a more divine energy.

We discern the lessons and hold tight our purpose.

Perhaps, we feel called to drop the "act" and bribg authenticity into the spotlight.

We tune into the Source and engage in a completely new way.

It takes a lot of courage to grow up and become who we really are.

We bless and release that old version that suited us well for some time and open ourselves up to something that we have always wanted.

Grateful for another sunrise, we begin again.

We seem to have the best of intentions in this earthly existence.

This life feels like more of a race.

We fill our calendars with stuff.

We proudly declare ourselves "so busy."

Our end of the day default feeling is "exhausted."

If we have a free moment, we filled it up.

We give it our all at work and home.

We strive for excellence in the time, space, and energy we sacrifice for family.

We put maximum effort into being there for friends.

We try to meet other's expectations.

Even when we are "off the clock," we are on another one with our mind processing what happened and what is coming up.

It is almost like we anticipate our value of productivity, power, and success must be measured by how much we do in a day, week, or year.

Secretly, we may hope others see and know it as well that we are working hard toward something. It is almost like we try to demonstrate our importance by how things we stretch ourselves.

As a result, time seems to evaporate before our eyes and yesterday seemed like so long ago.

Our body often protests the lack of care, rest, and attention.

Also, the peanut gallery, perhaps composed of a few bad actors, the darkness, and our ego, may suggest we are still not doing enough.

The Universe intervenes with a reminder that "Doing your best does not mean working yourself into a mental breakdown."

We are not intended to run the body, mind, and soul into the ground each day.

We need time for rest, reflection, and self-care.

No job, behavior, hobby, or relationship is worthy of us selling our soul to it.

We need to enjoy this life and all it has to offer.

Now is the time to reset the baseline and the measurable actions.

The Art SUX building is one of the most unique places anywhere around this area (and even further)—and we are aren’t jokin’. We are a community of local artists, their studios and an art gallery. Art hangs on almost every wall on the first two floors. We have bi-monthly exhibitions, shows, collaborative shows and receptions. We also host Art SUX For Kids (a nonprofit) FREE monthly art events for kids to teens. Oh, yes, there is more. We have locally owned Brekky’s, a fast casual breakfast and beverage shop that turns food and coffee into an experience. It’s open M-F 7-2 and Sat 8-2. Imagine eating and drinking art while looking at art! And Crumb., a locally owned bakery is open Saturday 8-1. Both lead to the huge gallery space. Forever feeling guilt, shame, or blame was never a divine option.

Our soul holds space in an earthly body that tests the limits of reality.

We have a very well-intended guide within which feeds from the the well of unlimited possibilities.

In the past, when we were presented with a conundrum, we struggled to tap into its infinite wisdom effectively as the ego often offered a more enticing solution which was faster, less work, and used resources less stewardly.

The sales pitch was irresistible and we would set aside sound advice and choose a less sustainable option.

We made significant mistakes.

We said "yes" when perhaps "no" was what we needed and "no" when "yes" was better suited for us.

We kept close those who didn't have our best interest in mind and still pushed away those who asked mind bending questions that opened up different perspectives.

We accepted responsibility for decisions not made by us and yet, at other times, walked away from our opportunity to accept our part of the mess.

We attempted to shift those stuck in their own fears and hesitated to face our own.

We still carry the weight of a past of poor decision-making, unanswered opportunities, the lack of time, space, and energy we gave, and what we chose to look past rather than address.

We assume unnecessary burden for what wasn't ours to hold onto and hesitate to bless and release the situations that still pull on our heartstrings even years later.

We punish ourselves by not allowing the past to be processed and to learn, heal, and grow.

If we truly believe that feeling bad will change a past event, then we are residing on another planet with a different reality system.

As a warden for our own soul, we have to acknowledge time served and set ourselves free from that which is of a different period in our lives.

We have to honor who we were then and know that this version of ourselves would have managed those situations more holistically.

We are called to lay down the darkness we carried and live the rest of this life in light and love.

Declare ourselves free of the past so that we can move forward.

Reiki is forgiveness all around.

We have experienced a few mistakes in our lives.

Beginning in the nest, we could feel the ripple affect of poor decision-making. We sensed the drop in vibration when a member of the household disappointed the others.

As we aged, we intended to be different.

Yet, we often found ourselves in similar situations and attempted to find the easy way out of complicated predicaments.

Ignorance, being stubborn, and a lack of trusting our gut brought us down some fairly difficult roads.

We even knew, at times, that what we ventured into was wrong, but that didn't stop us in the moment from leaning away from our highest and best good.

In our worst moments, we quickly absorbed valuable life lessons and perhaps, a better understanding of our existence through each challenging opportunity to become a better human.

As much as we would like to move on, there is still a part of us that hesitates to let us forget what a mess we created.

The real test is not we avoid these failures, because we won't. It is whether we let it harden or shame us into inaction or whether we learn from it and choose to persevere.

One life carries a lot of lessons. Each one intending to become tools as we push forward.

As we learn, we heal and grow showing us new ways of existing, connecting, and overcoming.

There is always a purpose to discover as ro why we needed ro see life unwind in that way.

If we can remember to carry it forward, we won't have to worry about making the same mistakes again.
