Past trauma is something we keep hidden. We keep it compartmentalized and hidden inside. No matter how pretty or tightly we have it placed, it finds a way to let us know it isn't gone and that it needs to be healed. It may come in forms of negative self talk and belief in ourselves, reacting strongly, anxiety and fear based thoughts that create self sabotaging behaviors due to feeling/ thinking everyone is the same, keeping us in the same loop with the same outcomes, only to reinforce those same behaviors, thoughts and feelings! Ugh!
These are moments in time we keep private so others don't judge us or base who we are upon the things we feel the worst about and wish never happened. We know deep inside how it affected us, want to be free of it, but we don't know how to talk about it gracefully within ourselves let alone others, because there is nothing graceful about it.
If you want another way of healing... one that will release stuck, repressed energies, I would love to create that safe, sacred space for your transformation of healing to begin.
