We proudly support 605 Boxer Rescue and what they do for all the precious animals in our community. They are a volunteer and foster rescue organization that is based out of Sioux Falls. They primarily take in boxer and boxer mixed dogs. They save as many as they can but they are limited by the number of fosters they can have in order to place dogs for care. 605 Boxer Rescue covers all costs relating to the care of the dogs during foster care. Donations are greatly appreciated because this rescue wouldn't be possible without the community's support.

May is National Celiac Disease Awareness Month!

Celiac Disease is an autoimmune disease that is triggered by the ingestion of gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. This autoimmune reaction affects the small intestine resulting in inflammation and damage to the intestinal lining. If left untreated, this damage can lead to malabsorption and nutrient deficiencies. There is no known cure for Celiac Disease, although, most people do well on a strict gluten-free diet.
