Sock puppets, but make it therapy 🧦✨

At Move U, some of our favorite therapy tools are made with a whole lot of heart, Sandi handcrafted each of these sock puppets, and they’ve become such a special part of our sessions 💛

Using puppets in therapy offers children the opportunity to:
• explore and experience emotions
• expand and stretch thoughts and ideas
• promote speech and language skills
• engage socially in a playful, low-pressure way

By shifting the focus from the child to the puppet, it takes the pressure off and creates a safe (and super fun!) space to express themselves and navigate life’s challenges.

It’s the little things—like Sandi’s creativity and care—that make a big impact on our families every day 🫶

A great day at the AAGA Adaptive Gymnastics Open Gym 🤍 🤸‍♂️

We’re so grateful for spaces like AAGA that offer adaptive gymnastics, creating opportunities for all kids to move, explore, and build confidence in ways that meet them exactly where they are.

From climbing and swinging to trying new things at their own pace, it’s always so special to watch each child engage in what feels good for their body.

Opportunities like this are such a great reminder that movement looks different for every child—and that’s exactly how it should be.
