We have expanded out PTSD Acupuncture Free Clinic for veterans and active military to also include pain management treatments. We have been hosting these weekly clinics throughout South Dakota since 2010. We have been able to provide this great service to the Rapid City, Sioux Falls and other communities throughout South Dakota with the help of our clinic interns from the acupuncture and Oriental medicine colleges in Minneapolis.

Acupuncture is an effective therapy to help individuals going through grief, calming anxiety, controlling anger and dealing with stress. Dr. McCormick has great success helping people find their center again using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

This video was taken at the Mayo Clinic's center for complementary medicine. Dr. McCormick was instrumental in initiating the interest with acupuncture at the Mayo Clinic. He was invited to lecture to physicians about complementary medicine and acupuncture at Mayo in 1996. He was the one of the first acupuncturist to be invited to lecture to physicians at Mayo. His work as a pioneering efforts in the field of acupuncture in Minnesota helped contributed to the eventual opening of this center at Mayo.
