May is Mental Health month! Today I participated in a Mental Health Fair at Inn on Westport. It was wonderful with healthy drink, explanation on mental health, hand massages, exercise reminders and great conversation on the residents mental health wellbeing! Did you know: 1 in 5 individuals over the age of 65 need to talk to someone(doctor, therapist, pastor, or family) about their moods and emotions. When they do, they will have less ER and doctor visits!! 47-200% less! Better mental health enriches life!
