April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month—a time to recognize the millions of individuals and families navigating Parkinson’s disease and to highlight the importance of understanding, support, and compassionate care.

At Touchmark, we support those living with Parkinson’s through a variety of programs and services. Our communities offer Parkinson’s-focused exercise classes to support strength, balance, and mobility, along with support groups for individuals and their loved ones, social opportunities, and wellness resources. Touchmark team members also receive training to better understand Parkinson’s and its impact on daily life, helping ensure residents and families feel supported throughout the community experience.

Through education, thoughtful care, and a strong sense of community, we are committed to helping residents continue living full, engaged lives. This month—and every month—we stand with those affected by Parkinson’s and celebrate the resilience and determination they bring to our communities.

Today we kicked off our first small-town road trip of 2026—and what a great start it was! 🚗✨

We headed to Rock Rapids, Iowa, where we enjoyed a day filled with fresh scenery, good company, and plenty of laughs along the way. It was the perfect reminder of how fun a little adventure can be!

These outings are all about making memories, trying something new, and enjoying the journey together. We’re already looking forward to our next trip! Where should we go next?

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Touchmark at All Saints! 🍀

Today was full of festive fun as we hosted a community pub crawl featuring four unique stops—each with its own signature drink and delicious appetizer. The celebration continued into a wonderful social where the Rowena Celi Band absolutely wowed us with their fantastic Irish music.

A great day filled with delicious flavors, festive tunes, and even better company. Sláinte!

On Wednesday, residents started the morning by gathering for a delicious breakfast at Perch Neighborhood Kitchen. Following breakfast, a resident group headed out to volunteer with The Foster Network, supporting an organization doing meaningful work for children and families in our community. Back at Touchmark, residents rolled up their sleeves and created cozy tie blankets that will be donated to The Teddy Bear Den.

Days like this remind us how powerful community can be!

What a wonderful Tuesday at Touchmark!

We were honored to welcome Stephanie Herseth Sandlin for a special Women’s History Month presentation. She shared stories from her personal and professional journey, sparking thoughtful conversation and reflection among residents and guests.

That evening, we had the pleasure of hosting “Pints with Professors” with Dr. Lucas Hamilton of Augustana University, who brought engaging insights from his Psychology of Aging class. Residents enjoyed great discussion, drinks, and appetizers — a perfect combination for a night of lifelong learning.

From inspiring stories to meaningful conversation, it was a day filled with connection, curiosity, and community. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us!

Laissez les bons temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!) 💜💛💚

Today our community was filled with Mardi Gras spirit! We kicked off the celebration with a community-wide parade where residents and team members showed off creativity, festive flair, and plenty of Mardi Gras cheer. From beads to bright colors, the energy was contagious!

The fun continued with an incredible Mardi Gras–inspired meal served alongside live jazz from the ever-so-talented Dalton Petersen Trio. The festive flavors paired perfectly with the New Orleans style jazz music, creating a celebration full of toe-tapping tunes and smiling faces!

What better way to end National Hobby Month than with great company and great food? Resident Services Director, Andi, guided us through a fun and interactive sushi-making class. We learned new skills, shared lots of laughs, and enjoyed every bite—an outstanding experience from start to finish!

Winter blues? Not at Touchmark!
Our Winter to the Keys celebration brought tropical vibes, great food, and high-energy music from Too Drunk to Fish. The dining room was filled with laughter, dancing, and an incredible island atmosphere. From delicious flavors to feel-good music and even better company, this was truly an unforgettable island escape — proving that sunshine and joy can be found any time of year at Touchmark!
