INGREDIENTS
• 1 medium spaghetti squash halved lengthwise, seeds removed
• 1 Tbsp olive oil
• Sea salt
• Freshly ground black pepper
• Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
• 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
• 1 large jar of spaghetti sauce (check ingredients for sugar and additives.)
• Parmesan cheese (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400°F. Drizzle cut sides of squash with 1 Tbsp oil. Season with salt and black pepper. Arrange halves cut side down on a large baking sheet.
2️⃣ Roast squash until tender, 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool slightly. Using a fork, scrape squash strands into a large bowl.
3️⃣ Meanwhile, brown ground beef (drain any excess fat), add the spaghetti sauce and simmer until warm.
4️⃣ Add meat sauce over spaghetti squash and top with red pepper flakes and parmesan if desired.
