✨ A big THANK YOU to everyone for sticking with us through the Giving Tuesday madness! We know it's a lot of posting and asking, but we can't express our gratitude enough for all of you who helped to make our Giving Tuesday a successful one!

💚 Whether you donated to our campaign, helped us spread the word through social media, or nominated us for the Scheels prize--it all added up! We are THRILLED to have over $10,000 to add to our budget as we head into 2026! Some events you can look forward to, which are made possible by our annual fundraising efforts are:

❄️ The Second Annual Winter Ball for teens & adults which will be hosted at Mosaic on Saturday, January 31st
🎪 The return of the Family-Friendly Disability Expo on Saturday, April 17th 2027, wich will be bigger & better and is to be hosted at the Sioux Falls Convention Center
🧺 Second Annual All Family Picnic this summer
⭐ Continuing to offer, and elevate, monthly events for our three programs
👥 More parent mixers and Moms/Dads nights
🎉 And many more events that are still in the planning and brainstorming phase!

🎁 Have you been shopping up a storm this weekend?! We've got you covered! Get all your holiday gifts wrapped and support a local nonprofit all in one night! You're invited to join us on Wednesday, December 17th at The Social for our second annual Community Wrap Party. This event is open to the entire community!

👀 We all know that one of the hardest parts of the holiday season is figuring out how to wrap all of our presents away from prying eyes. Well, we came up with the perfect solution!

🥂 Get together with us to wrap your presents in peace and enjoy some refreshments with friends! We will have charcuterie, cookies, waters, soda and more. There will be a cash bar if you'd like to purchase a glass of wine, beer, seltzer, or even a cocktail! If you'd prefer to stop and get dinner on your way, or bring food from home, you are welcome to bring that in as well.

✂ We will have wrapping supplies like tape, scissors, bows, tags and paper available to use, but you are welcome to bring your own--or bring some to share!

🏆 We will be raffling off prizes that would make a great last minute gift or just something to treat yourself with! We have received items from Barrel House, Great Shots, Skin Sanctuary, Bounce Around Inflatables and more!

💚 All money raised during the event will go to your hosts, Fun & Friends. Fun & Friends is a local 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides social programming for individuals with disabilities of all ages and their families. We are completely run and organized by passionate local women who volunteer their time to plan and host inclusive, accessible events for the disability community of Sioux Falls.

Most of the items on the list are ideas for our sensory bags, as well as some new bags themselves! Right now we just have one bag, but we'd love for each of our three programs to have their own dedicated sensory bag with age appropriate activities inside.
