With the holidays almost here, there are things we can do to help those loved ones struggling with hearing loss. 🍂🍂🍂

❤️ Do not talk too fast, slow down your speach
❤️ Instead of repeating yourself, try rephrasing what you said
❤️ Use body language when talking
❤️ Get your loved ones attention first, even if you have to remove barriers so they can see you speak

Time with loved ones should be enjoyable and memorable. Not in frustration over not being able to communicate.

Dr. Rounseville-Norgaard and her twin sister were diagnosed with hearing loss at the age of three. Dr. Rounseville-Norgaard has worn hearing aids since.
