Healing rarely happens in isolation.

We’ve seen it again and again — when a woman receives care, she carries that healing back to her family, her work, her community. It ripples outward.

Circles of Care exists to make those ripples possible.

Through our funding, women in need of multidisciplinary care can access healing services they otherwise couldn’t justify or afford — from counseling and pelvic floor therapy to massage and energy work.

Every dollar raised becomes part of someone’s healing circle.

Selah Space began as a place for women to heal — and over time, it became something even deeper.

We’ve learned that care doesn’t end with one person’s healing. It circles outward — toward the providers who offer their gifts, the women who hold each other up, and the community that makes care possible.

That’s why we’re so excited to share: Selah Space is growing into two branches — our private practice and community space, and a new nonprofit called Circles of Care by Selah Space.

Together, they’ll hold the same mission: to care for women and the providers who support them.

This is more than a change in structure. It’s the next layer of our healing story.

Why the Switch to a Nonprofit?

I was asked this several times at a networking event last week.

It's a great question. One many of my business friends asked with big eyes and held breath when I first told them. "It's certainly a choice" you could almost hear them think 🤭

I'll tell you the truth. It's because ONE of my clients needed me to.

Of course that's not the whole story. Of course, she is not the only client that needs this or benefits from it.

But that's where it started.

Multidisciplinary care is so expensive. Holistic healing is costly and time consuming and slow work.

And since opening this beautiful place in 2020, I have listened to provider after provider agonize over their prices. They desperately want to help. They need to be able to pay their bills and keep the office lights on.

So I was sitting on my porch last spring journaling, holding two important things in my hands.
1. clients who are really in the thick of it feel they can't afford what they need (multiple sessions per month at a minimum).
2. providers need to be supported while they are trying with all their might to support their clients.

On the surface, not a lot has changed. And the mission is widely the same. But the capacity for miracles is so much greater here. I can't wait to see what comes of it.
