Meet Jackie. As a Nurse Practitioner, Jackie works with the hospitalist group at Avera, providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She also volunteers with Midwest Street Medicine, a cause deeply personal to her due to the loss of a family member to drug addiction and su***de.
This experience fuels Jackie's commitment to kindness and support for every patient she encounters. Additionally, Jackie cofounded Nurse Connect, a small business focused on patient advocacy and education. Jackie believes strongly in giving back to the community, and through her professional and volunteer work, she strives to make a meaningful impact by fostering hope and healing.

We are so excited to announce that we will now be available for postpartum services. As trusted nurses and mother’s ourselves, we will be delighted to serve new parents in the initial postpartum period and beyond.
Our nurses can help with baby so you can take a break, get some rest, run errands or go to appointments. If you feel most comfortable with baby by your side, we can accompany you and take your bundle of joy for walks in their stroller while you get your errands done or catch up on your life.

Our Year in Review!

Happy New Year from Nurse Connect.

Nurse Connect was at Garfield Elementary - 19 last night for their Health Fair! We spent time with kids going over healthy food and the importance of exercise and sleep. Lots of amazing vendors were present including lss.southdakota and Hy-Vee Dietitians!

Stay active during these colder months by bundling up for walks or finding a local gym or looking up free workouts on YouTube! Natural endorphins through activity can really help when those winter blues sneak in.

If you have medical appointments and family aren’t able to make it into town to assist you please know we are here to help!
