He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! 🙌

Today we celebrate the greatest victory in history…
The grave is empty. Death is defeated. Hope is alive.

Because of Jesus, we are not defined by our past, our pain, or our struggles—
We are made new. We are redeemed. We are free.

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6

From all of us at Active Faith Chiropractic,

Holy Saturday ✝️

Today is the quiet day.

The day in between the pain of the cross… and the victory of the empty tomb.

It’s the day where hope felt buried.
Where prayers seemed unanswered.
Where everything looked still.

The disciples didn’t know Sunday was coming.

And maybe we’ve all had moments like that—
waiting, wondering, sitting in the silence… unsure of what God is doing.

But Holy Saturday reminds us of something powerful:

Just because God feels silent… doesn’t mean He isn’t working.

Even in the waiting, He is moving.
Even in the unknown, He has a plan.
Even in the darkness, resurrection is coming.

If you’re in a season of waiting today—hold onto hope.

Sunday is coming.

GOOD FRIDAY 🙌🏼

Today is not just a day on the calendar.
It’s a moment that changed everything.

Good Friday is where we are confronted with both the weight of sin and the depth of God’s love.
It’s the day Jesus willingly stepped into suffering… not because He had to, but because He chose to.

He was mocked.
He was beaten.
He carried a cross that wasn’t His to carry.

And still… He stayed.

Not out of weakness—
but out of love for you, for me, for all of us.

⸝

“By His wounds we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5

⸝

The cross shows us something we often try to avoid:
➡️ Sin is serious
➡️ Brokenness is real
➡️ Pain is part of this world

But it also shows us something even greater:
➡️ Grace is stronger
➡️ Love is deeper
➡️ Redemption is available

⸝

On that cross, Jesus didn’t just endure pain—
He absorbed it.
He took on the weight of our mistakes, our failures, our guilt…
and in exchange, gave us forgiveness, healing, and new life.

“It is finished.” – John 19:30

Not “it has started”…
Not “it might be enough”…

Finished. Paid. Complete.

⸝

Good Friday reminds us that:
What looked like defeat…
was actually victory in disguise.

What looked like the end…
was actually the beginning of hope.

⸝

So today, we pause.

We reflect.
We remember.
We sit in the weight of what was done on our behalf.

Because you can’t fully understand the power of Sunday…
without first understanding the sacrifice of Friday.

“ Jesus, thank You for the cross.
Thank You for choosing love when it cost everything.
Help us live with gratitude, walk in Your grace, and never take for granted what You’ve done for us.

Amen.”

Sunday is coming!

Holy Wednesday. The Day of Betrayal.

Not by a stranger.
By someone close.
Someone who walked with Jesus… saw the miracles… heard the truth… and still chose 30 pieces of silver over the Savior.

Let that sink in.

This isn’t just history—this is a mirror.

How often do we:
Trade truth for comfort?
Compromise when it’s convenient?
Stay silent when we know better?

Holy Wednesday confronts us.

It reminds us that being close to Jesus isn’t the same as being committed to Him.

And yet—here’s the power of it all—
Even betrayal couldn’t stop God’s plan.

Jesus knew… and still chose the cross.
Still chose love.
Still chose YOU.

Today isn’t just about Judas.
It’s about us choosing differently.

Choose faith over comfort.
Choose obedience over ease.
Choose Jesus—fully.

Holy Tuesday ✝️

Today is a reminder that faith isn’t just about what we say—it’s about how we live.

Jesus spent this day teaching, challenging, and calling people higher:
To be ready.
To be faithful.
To live with intention.

Not perfectly—but genuinely.

A good question for today:
👉 Am I living out my faith… or just talking about it?

We’re grateful to serve you all this week and be part of a community that values faith, family, and purpose.

“Well done, good and faithful servant…” – Matthew 25:21

Holy Monday ✝️

Today marks a powerful moment in Holy Week—when Jesus entered the temple and cleared out what didn’t belong.

Not out of anger… but out of purpose.

A reminder that sometimes we need to:
• Clear distractions
• Remove negativity
• Refocus our faith

Growth starts when we make room for what truly matters.

PSALM 51:10
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”

Let this be your reset. 🙌

Palm Sunday 🌿

Matthew 21:9
“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

Today we remember when Jesus entered Jerusalem and was welcomed as King… with palm branches laid before Him.

A moment of celebration.
A moment of praise.
A moment that reminds us who He truly is.

As we begin this Holy Week, we’re reminded that faith isn’t just about the high moments—but about trusting God through every step of the journey.

At Active Faith Chiropractic, we are grateful to serve this community and walk alongside you in health, healing, and faith.

Let this week be one of gratitude, reflection, and renewed purpose.

Follow along this week as we walk through Holy Week together 🙏

What an incredible man we got to call doctor, friend, and brother. This still feels unreal for all of us. I feel like I’m going to walk into the office and see Dr. Brandt sitting in his chair, leaned back, “pretending to do notes,” with a big smile on his face saying, “Good morning.”

And for anyone wondering, he’d also be waiting for me to make the drip coffee so he could pour half coffee into his Embrace coffee cup and fill the rest with creamer. By golly, that man loved his coffee creamer. 🖤

Dr. Bryce Douglas Brandt, 36, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN from complications of chemotherapy treatment, which he courageously completed in his battle with testicular cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones as he pea...

This is a post I never thought I would have to write, but Dr. Brandt went home to meet his Maker Thursday morning 🖤

Dr. Brandt was with us at Active Faith Chiropractic for a little over three years, and he was incredible at what he did. Every morning we started our day with devotionals. He was always deeply engaged — taking in God’s Word and applying it to his life. Over those three years, I had the privilege of watching him grow into a true disciple of Christ… a man who loved God with every breath.

During the weeks he was in the hospital, I had the opportunity to spend time with him and his family — praying over him, reading Scripture together, and simply being present. I also had the chance to meet many of his friends and extended family, which was a true blessing and a reminder of just how many lives he touched.

Over the last few weeks, people would often refer to me as his “boss.” I always corrected them and said “colleague.” But the more I’ve thought about it, the most accurate response would have been this: he was my brother in Christ, and I was his sister in Christ.

Bryce deeply loved his patients. He cared for them with genuine compassion and took pride in helping people heal and feel better. It was clear every day how much his patients meant to him — and how much they loved him in return.

We will miss him deeply, but his presence and impact will never leave this office at AFC.

The final Bible verse read to Bryce was Isaiah 41:10:

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

May we all continue to open our hearts to God and His Word. As a family member said to me this week, “God is… everything.” I’m thankful Bryce knew that.

To my patients and staff who allowed me the time to be by Bryce’s side during his final weeks, thank you for your compassion and understanding. It meant more than you know.

Please continue to keep Bryce and his family in your prayers, and mark your calendars for his benefit on March 28th.

If you have a favorite memory of Dr. Brandt or a special experience with him in the office, please feel free to share it in the comments. His family would love to see them.

Until we meet again, Dr. Brandt 🖤

We love you,

Dr. Haley Luond
