Welcome to the AFC team, Dr. K!
Dr. Kallan Groseth, DC (“Dr. K”) is a Sioux Falls native whose lifelong mission is to bring hope, empathy, and excellent care to moms, babies, athletes, and families.
Her practice is intentionally cultivated as a space where patients feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. Whether caring for a newborn, supporting a pregnant mother, helping an athlete recover, or guiding a family through a season of pain, Dr. K approaches each person with humility, deep empathy, and a sincere commitment to listen. She believes that listening is one of the most powerful forms of care — every story matters, every body is unique, and every family deserves thoughtful, unrushed attention.
Dr. K’s foundation in health began with a lifetime of movement. A classically trained ballerina, she trained at The Academy of Dance and later in the Professional Program at Dance Gallery. Years of disciplined dance shaped her understanding of posture, spinal alignment, neurological control, and performance mechanics. She later coached dancers and athletes in injury prevention, strength development, and movement efficiency — experience that now informs her athlete-focused chiropractic care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of South Dakota, building a strong academic foundation in biomechanics, physiology, and human performance. She then went on to graduate from Northwestern Health Sciences University with her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2024, where she developed advanced clinical skills in neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis and care.
Dr. K holds certification in the Webster Technique and has completed pediatric-focused coursework through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Her clinical training includes extensive work in cranial sacral therapy (CST), Graston Technique, cupping therapy, myofascial release, and muscle rehabilitation techniques.
During her internships — including training under Dr. Clark at 50th & France Chiropractic in Edina, MN — she gained focused experience serving many cranial sacral therapy patients alongside pregnancy, postpartum mothers, infants, family and athlete populations.
Her journey into chiropractic, however, was deeply personal.
For years, Dr. K struggled with debilitating migraines, scoliosis-related spinal pain, and persistent numbness and tingling. She understands firsthand the discouragement that chronic neurological symptoms can bring. After receiving specific chiropractic care combined with cranial sacral therapy, her long-standing neurological symptoms resolved following appropriate cervical adjustment and CST support. While she recognizes that outcomes vary and every case is unique, that experience profoundly shaped her empathy and conviction that the nervous system holds remarkable potential when properly supported.
Her greatest passion is caring for moms, babies, dancers, and entire families with gentleness, detail, and excellence.
A space for hope.
A space for empathy.
A space where patients are truly listened to.
A space for excellent, informed care.
Dr. K believes the body was designed with resilience. She is passionate about helping patients discover that there are often more options available than they realize — options to decrease pain, increase function, improve performance, and live the life God has enabled them to live.
Her faith is foundational to her outlook. She desires not only to offer physical hope, but the enduring hope found in Jesus Christ. She believes that through proper care, perseverance, wisdom, and faith, we are well able to overcome.
Outside of the office, Dr. K is deeply involved in ministry, serving high school and college students through Bible studies and mentorship. She supports her church community and its new school initiative in Africa and is passionate about serving women locally in Sioux Falls — especially those facing hardship — helping them feel loved and cared for.
Dr. K is honored to join Dr. Haley and the Active Faith team, where she looks forward to serving families with compassion, excellence, and hope.
