How can you change your experience today? Want to feel more relaxed, more grounded, and just physically more connected with less aches and pains?
Today I offer up one of my all time favorite yoga classes. I began my deepening of the yoga journey with this video, and with this teacher Erin Wimert. Up to the point when I found this gem I was mostly jogging and trying to eat healthy for fitness. I had begun working on stress management techniques with breathing and was at that point Reiki healing and BodyTalk certified. Both energy healing techniques that were having great impacts in my life but I needed more.
Due to an old injury I had come-and-go hip pain and was quickly losing my shoulder abilities. I started the first class with almost constant pain in my shoulders and had gotten to the point where I could not lift more than 15 pounds safely. I was desperate to heal.
I remember the first 2 or 3 times doing this yoga session, and I remember feeling tears come up in some of the poses because I had to collapse and rest. I also remember feeling stretching and release in areas that were desperate for the stretch as well.
I began to do this session 3 to 4 times a week. The more I did the stronger my mind became, and the stronger my legs and hips became. Fast forward to a few months later and I had transformed my body! I felt healthy, my shoulders were healing, and my hips felt so in alignment. My legs were powerhouses and I could tell that something had changed.
Within 4 months I began weight training, I had a personal trainer who was also lucky enough for me, my partner as well. I also took personal training one on one with another trainer to get certified instruction due to my previous debilitating injuries.
Within a year I was lifting 3 times a week or more, and within 2 I was confidently lifting double my bodyweight on all the major straight bar lifts.
The point of this long post? It's that YOU CAN HEAL YOURSELF. Yes, you can. Let me share with you my tools and when you begin to feel the difference, reach out and let me know.
