Elevate Sports Medicine & Performance We’re officially Elevate Sports Medicine & Performance! Hi friend. I’m Cassandra.

Formerly Positively Balanced Athletic Therapy, we’ve elevated our approach with integrated athletic therapy, chiropractic, performance training, and recovery services — all under one roof. I’m an athletic trainer who is trained in soft tissue techniques for injury and prevention and treatment based in Tulsa and Skiatook, Oklahoma. I hold a Bachelors degree in Health Education and Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Athletic Training. I help people overcome injury and pain, so they can continue the workouts and fitness classes they enjoy. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, you are not your diagnosis, pain, or injury and there is always a way to get back to what you love. Some of the things that I can help you with include

Safely pursuing fitness classes while addressing post-pregnancy related issues diastasis, prolapse, or incontinence. Creating personalized post-rehab or injury prevention programs, so you can troubleshoot hip, knee, low back, or shoulder pain while continuing the activities that you enjoy. Reducing joint pain and discomfort through specialized manual therapy techniques, including cupping, rock tape, and instrument assisted massage. Assessing your form and offering feedback, so you can squat, lunge, and deadlift without pain. When I’m not working with clients, I can be found playing with my son and husband outside, gardening, cooking, and teaching movement classes.

Many female athletes are praised for being tough, disciplined, and driven — but sometimes those same qualities can hide a serious health issue known as the Female Athlete Triad, or RED-S.

RED-S occurs when an athlete isn’t fueling enough to match the demands of training. Over time, the body begins to conserve energy, which can impact:
• Menstrual health
• Bone density
• Recovery and performance

Losing a menstrual cycle is not a normal part of training — it’s a warning sign.

Low energy availability increases the risk of:
• Stress fractures
• Hormonal disruption
• Chronic fatigue
• Decreased performance

Strength training helps protect bone health, but it must be paired with adequate nutrition and recovery to truly support the athlete.

At Elevate, we look at the whole athlete — not just performance numbers.

We screen for RED-S risk factors, educate athletes and parents, and design strength programs that support long-term health, not burnout.

Here at Elevate Sports Medicine & Performance, we’re excited to share this month’s weekly lineup! Below is a breakdown of each class, what it is, who it’s for, and why it’s a great fit for your body and goals.

-MONDAY Jan 6th

Youth Performance — 3:30 PM & 5:00 PM
These sessions are designed for young athletes to build strength, speed, coordination, and athletic movement. We focus on safe, sport-specific development so young athletes can excel while avoiding injuries.

TUESDAY Jan 7th

Personal Trainer Onsite — 8:00 AM–11:00 AM
Stop by for individual support from a trainer! Perfect for form checks, exercise programming, goal setting, or help modifying workouts to your specific needs.

Tabata — 9:00 AM
A high-intensity interval training class with short bursts of effort followed by brief rest. Tabata is great for boosting cardiovascular fitness, burning calories, and increasing overall endurance in a short session.

-WEDNESDAY Jan. 8th
Beginner Strength — 8:15 AM
This class focuses on the basics of strength training. Perfect for beginners or those looking to improve foundational form and technique with confidence.

Level 2 (L2) Strength — 9:00 AM
For those with strength experience! We build on foundational movements with slightly more challenging progressions for continued strength gains.

Youth Performance — 3:30 PM & 5:00 PM
Consistent youth training helps young athletes improve coordination, power, and confidence — twice daily for flexibility in scheduling!

-THURSDAY Jan 9th
Personal Trainer Onsite — 8:00 AM–11:00 AM
Another block of time to get personalized coaching — perfect for fine-tuning goals or dialing in your plan for the week.

Power Yoga — 9:00 AM
A dynamic and strength-based yoga class that improves balance, mobility, stability, and breath control. Wonderful as active recovery or to supplement strength training.

Youth Performance — 3:30 PM & 5:00 PM
Consistent training blocks to support skill and athletic growth throughout the week.

-FRIDAY Jan 10th

Strength — 8:15 AM
Focused on building overall muscular strength using structured lifts and coached progressions — great way to finish your training week strong!

Level 2 (L2) Strength — 9:00 AM
Take your lifting up a level with advanced coaching cues and movement progressions to challenge your strength gains.

SATURDAY 11th

Barre & Yoga — 9:00 AM
A fusion class combining barre-inspired movement with yoga flow. This class enhances core stability, flexibility, posture, and body awareness— and it’s a great weekend reset!
