Elevate Sports Medicine & Performance We’re officially Elevate Sports Medicine & Performance! Hi friend. I’m Cassandra.

Formerly Positively Balanced Athletic Therapy, we’ve elevated our approach with integrated athletic therapy, chiropractic, performance training, and recovery services — all under one roof. I’m an athletic trainer who is trained in soft tissue techniques for injury and prevention and treatment based in Tulsa and Skiatook, Oklahoma. I hold a Bachelors degree in Health Education and Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Athletic Training. I help people overcome injury and pain, so they can continue the workouts and fitness classes they enjoy. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, you are not your diagnosis, pain, or injury and there is always a way to get back to what you love. Some of the things that I can help you with include

Safely pursuing fitness classes while addressing post-pregnancy related issues diastasis, prolapse, or incontinence. Creating personalized post-rehab or injury prevention programs, so you can troubleshoot hip, knee, low back, or shoulder pain while continuing the activities that you enjoy. Reducing joint pain and discomfort through specialized manual therapy techniques, including cupping, rock tape, and instrument assisted massage. Assessing your form and offering feedback, so you can squat, lunge, and deadlift without pain. When I’m not working with clients, I can be found playing with my son and husband outside, gardening, cooking, and teaching movement classes.

🚨 BIG NEWS 🚨

We are officially MOVED and now located in Collinsville, Oklahoma at 📍 1117 West Main Street!

First of all—WOW. We are so excited (and a little overwhelmed in the best way 😅) to now have a space that’s almost double the size of our original home. Growth like this is something we don’t take lightly, and we are so grateful for all of you who made it possible.

That being said… please pardon us as we redo our space about 15 billion times while we figure out what works best in our new home 😂

We’re also working through all the behind-the-scenes transitions—address updates, systems, logistics, and all the fun “moving parts” that come with a big change like this—so we appreciate your patience as both our physical AND electronic organization catch up.

One of the biggest shifts I’ve noticed in the fitness industry:

New trainers often think their body is their resume.

But looking athletic and understanding human movement are two completely different things.

Being a coach requires knowledge of:
• biomechanics
• injury risk
• progression and regression
• recovery
• individual differences

Because no two bodies are the same.

A good coach doesn’t just ask:
“What workout do I like?”

They ask:
“What does THIS person need right now?”

Your coach should know how to train a beginner, a recovering athlete, a busy parent, and a high performer.

That requires education.

Not just aesthetics.

One of the biggest issues I see with young female athletes in the weight room…

They’re often placed into large group strength programs without ever being taught the basics.

And it’s not anyone’s fault—there just isn’t time.

When you have 30, 50, even 100 athletes in a session, it becomes impossible to coach:

• proper squat mechanics
• how to hinge safely
• how to land and absorb force
• how to control knee position
• how to build strength with good technique

So what happens?

Girls do their best to keep up… but often with poor movement patterns.

Over time, this can lead to:

⚠ knee pain
⚠ poor mechanics
⚠ decreased confidence in the weight room
⚠ increased injury risk

Especially during the middle school years when their bodies are already changing quickly.

This is exactly why I’m so passionate about teaching these skills early.

When female athletes learn how to move well, build strength properly, and understand their bodies…

They don’t just perform better—they feel more confident and resilient in their sport.
