A recent paper was published in the American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research focused on speech, language, hearing, and otopathology (health and diseases of the ear) in Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS).

This study analyzed data from PRISMS SMS Patient Registry. It is also the first paper to report results from the registry’s speech, language, and hearing questionnaire. This video is a little old but definitely worthy of sharing. This video was made after the first comic book was released, but now Face Value Comics has published three books in this series!!! How fantastic that this writer has created a main character (and superhero) that is so much more than just a caricature of an individual with autism - an truly authentic and realistic representation of ASD that is much needed today!

The comic has been a huge hit since it hit shelves.
