Celebrating Salma Luqueno’s 2-year anniversary at Citadel at Casa Scalabrini! 🎉
As our Admissions Director, Salma is often the first point of connection for new families, helping them feel informed, supported, and comfortable from day one. She values her supportive team and loves collaborating across departments to ensure every family has a seamless, reassuring experience.
Her advice for anyone starting in healthcare: "Ask questions. There's no such thing as a bad one — everyone is happy to answer."
A favorite memory of hers is when she helps residents remember her name: "I always tell them, 'It's like Selma… Alabama!' It never fails to bring a smile to both me and them."
If she had to describe her journey here in one word, it would be "Rewarding," because she loves helping families, especially during tours, and seeing the gratitude they share in those moments.
