Today marks the beginning of the Lenten season with Ash Wednesday, a sacred time of reflection, repentance, and renewal.

As we receive ashes and hear the words “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return,” we are reminded of the fragile, beautiful gift of life and the hope that carries us through loss.

This season invites us to slow down, to turn inward, and to draw closer to God and to one another. May these next forty days be filled with prayer, peace, and moments of grace for you and your loved ones.

Over the past two weekends, we have been incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share at both Assumption BVM Slatington PA and St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Walnutport and spend some time connecting with our parish families after Mass. It has been such a gift to meet so many of you, hear your hearts for prayer this Lenten season, and talk about ways we can journey through Lent more intentionally together.
