OPEN ENROLLMENT IS HERE!

If I could give my (or another pharmacy's) patients just one piece of advice, it would be to discuss with the PHARMACY you wish you use as to which plan is best for you.

We have dozens of examples we can give of people enrolling in a plan they later regret because they were shuffled out of town, or into a plan that was not the best for them at the pharmacy they wanted to use, or being told just flat out lies and incorrect information by so called advisors.

The same would go for the hospital/clinic you want to use. It is a FAR better option to discuss with the provider as to which plan is best for you, than any other available option.

No one knows how these things work better than the providers who provide the care and bill your insurance.

"I encourage all Texans to recognize our outstanding pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, who are essential to our healthcare system," Abbott wrote. "Pharmacists use their specialized talents in service to the greater good, and their work will be of great value as we strive together toward a bigger, better Texas."
