We are proud to have Ada as an active junior corps volunteer ! Congrats!
Last night at our Board of Education meeting, we proudly celebrated Sleepy Hollow High School student Adanhyr Morocho Chuchuca for earning first place in the prestigious National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE) essay contest.
Since arriving from Ecuador at age eight and becoming English proficient by sixth grade, Adanhyr has grown into a powerful advocate for bilingualism and linguistic diversity. She is a leader in LASO, founder of a new pre-medical club, and a dedicated environmental and community advocate.
Adanhyr truly embodies global citizenship, service, and academic excellence. Congratulations, Adanhyr!
