Here's this year’s camp rundown:
🍉 June 1st - August 7th - 10 week camp
🌼 Monday through Thursday from 9am to 2pm
☀️ Slidell, LA
🛝 $49 Registration Fee
🎨 $169 per week

With less than 2 months to go, we are getting excited for ALL of the childhood memory makers. We're talking tie-dye, water play, obstacle courses, playground fun, keepsake crafts, rainy day mud pies, parachutes, jungle gyms, and sandcastles.

Camp Bayou & Bloom is all about cultivating friendships and core memories to last a lifetime.

👏🏼🏆🥇 ROUND OF APPLAUSE for our four year old class for achieving 100 HOURS OUTSIDE so far in 2026! From January to March, these kiddos have soaked in that sunshine and fresh air while participating in circletime, readalouds, activities, scavenger hunts, and so much more. When you get to pull up in your Little Tikes Cozy Coupe for circletime, you know you’re in the best place to do some learning! 💯

Of course you’ve heard the saying “Teamwork makes the dream work,” but at Bayou & Bloom we put that into action everyday. Our kiddos spend time outdoors daily with endless possibilities to dream big and soak up time with friends. It’s incredible to see their ideas come to life with the help of their schoolmates and to witness the joy they share when working together. Collaborative play is a fundamental part of our school and there’s no better place to learn and build the foundations of teamwork than the great outdoors!

Takes more than a soggy wet week to stop this crew! 💅 ✨ Our kiddos had the time of their lives making mud pies, jumping in puddles, pouring, dumping, digging and just soaking up some springtime fun with friends. We’re wrapping up an awesome week of all things Dr. Seuss for Read Across America Week 2026! We celebrated with playdough Green Eggs & Ham, One Fish Two Fish counting games and coloring, sticky goopy Oobleck like Bartholomew and The Oobleck, and everything in between. Our kiddos had tons of fun dressing up all week and learning all about the joy some silly rhyming words and stories can bring! 📚📖

Smile squad takeover! 😀🦷🪥 We’d like to send a great BIG thank you to Off The Trace Dental for helping us celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month during our last week of February. Our kiddos had the BEST time learning from this incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate group of ladies.

🐯 Every child was given a turn to brush the tiger’s teeth and really see for themselves the importance of a thorough scrub even in those hard to reach spaces.

📖 They read us a super sweet story all about easing the nerves some children may experience with dental visits.

🏆 We all played a trivia game and every child won a prize.

🪥 And our classes received a very generous goodie bag packed full of dental necessities!

They turned learning about healthy smiles into BIG FUN and we couldn’t be more grateful for their visit to Bayou & Bloom! ✨

FIRE SAFETY FRIDAY! 🚒🧯🔥 We’d like to say a big THANK YOU to St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 Slidell Fire Department for coming to teach us ALL about fire safety today. We got to high-five fighter fighters in full gear, climb through the truck, explore the inside, see the flashing lights, experience thermal imaging camera technology, and learn about the jaws of life.

We have been working on the letter F is for Fire all week in preparation for today’s grand finale. Each child was filled with wonder and had so much fun during their visit. This was the perfect way to cap off another awesome week at Bayou & Bloom! ❤️
