When your mood is negative all even minor problems and issues are exacerbated. Keeping a positive frame of mind allows one to see the other side of problems and not only overcome them but to learn the lesson they are meant to teach.

No matter how bad a behavior don't let it define you. Everyone has within them the capacity for positive change. Whatever it is it was what you did not who you are. Let your positive behavior overcome negativity of the past.

Just Back from Level II training in Rapid Resolution Therapy. It was mind blowing and awe inspiring. Dr. Jon Connerly is just a genius to have come up with these awesome techniques that allow us to intervene with our clients in a new and unusual way. One thing that stuck with me is that we must be able to have an intention for our client that is in communion with them. This produces such strong energy to move the client forward toward his healing goal. I immediately wondered why I didn't engage my clients in the past in that way. The energy that is produced when minds have intentions towards the same goal is so powerful. Being able to say to clients that there is only a small facet of mind that is responding in a way that doesn't work well for them is so much better than telling them they have some disease or disorder. I love the grief work as well where we can show clients how someone who dies is not lost to them by speaking of the person in the present and using the analogy of ice that melts and then is evaporated. H2O is H2O. How comforting is that. There is no need to move on or let go since the person hasn't gone anywhere- just changed forms. Thanks Jon- see you at Level III.
