Meet Jill Keyes, Front Desk Supervisor—a leader who helps keep our front desk running smoothly while making a positive impact on every patient who walks through our doors.
What inspired you to work in healthcare?
I kind of fell into it, but I’ve grown to really enjoy learning new things and helping patients.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
As a supervisor, I love seeing my team succeed. At the front desk, I enjoy making a positive impact—helping patients smile when they don’t feel well, resolving issues, or simply being a listening ear.
Fun fact patients might not know:
I grew up in Indiana and have lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
How does the Pelican Urgent Care team support each other?
We truly have a team mindset—everyone helps each other by answering questions, figuring things out together, and even covering shifts. We genuinely care about one another.
One piece of health advice:
Proper hygiene—wash your hands!
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Reading, photography, and crafting of all kinds—crochet, painting, sewing, and scrapbooking.
Favorite local spot:
My “She Shed”—it’s truly my happy place!
