Our Center provides a place where adults who choose to live at home can come and enjoy various therapeutic activites, assistance witheir Activities of Daily Living, and have the opportunity to get out of the house, socialize and have fun! We foster a nurturing, stimulating, and enjoyable atmosphere which supports the capacity for self-care and encourages positive feelings of dignity and self-worth.

I cant believe I almost let this day pass by withou celebrating our anniversary. Twenty-two years ago today we opened the doors to Slidell Adult Day Health Care. It has been a pleasure serving the Slidell community. Thank you, Slidell, for supporting us for so many years

Never ending love. We had a client in her 70s who had been diagnosed with Dementia for 20 years. Her husband brought her to our center every day for over 6 years. Most days she did not know who he was, or she was very agitated. He had to do everything for her, and every morning she would arrive nicely dressed, hair combed and sometimes a little makeup. Before leavening, he would tell us. "Take care of my baby girl", then would give her a big kiss and hug, and tell her, " I love you baby girl, I will be back soon". Somedays she would just continue to stare aimlessly, but somedays, oh boy, she would light up as bright as a star. He would often tell us about their life together and share pictures from vacations. He said he vowed to love and care for her for life, and he did. After she passed, he continued to visit us, just to talk and reminisce. That's NEVER-ENDING LOVE! # Ilovemyjob,

Come see what we have to offer. Our clients really enjoy their days with us. Tuesday and Thursday is bingo day. We have clients who drive themselves to the center just on those two days. They love the food, the exercise, the friendships and of course the BINGO!

Here is some valuable information about the waiver, that could possibly pay for services. Most seniors will qualify. Most folks say, "mom won't qualify because dad has a nice Retirment check or they have a nice home and car". That is not taken into consideration.
