✨ What an unforgettable evening at STARC’s 15th Annual Art Night ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating “Louisiana At Its Best” at this year’s Art Night! 🎨❤️

From the incredible artwork created by our talented STARC artists with disabilities, to the joy of gathering with our community, sponsors, and supporters, this night was truly special. Every piece shared a story of creativity, passion, and inspiration.

A special highlight of the evening was our live auction of the annual Louisiana Catahoula Dog painting 🐾🎨 honoring service dogs and the amazing impact they make.

We are beyond grateful to all who attended, supported, bid, donated, and helped make this milestone 15th annual event such a success.

April is Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month!

Autism diagnoses are rising for both children and adults. 1 in 31 U.S. Boys are 3.4 times more likely than girls: ~1 in 20 boys vs. ~1 in 70 girls. Can be reliably diagnosed by age 2; median diagnosis age is still around 4–5 years, though early identification is improving. An estimated 1 in 100 children worldwide are diagnosed with autism, according to Autism Speaks.
Autism affects people from all racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Autism support & acceptance matter for every age.
