The New Year is a great way to let go of the past and start fresh.

Here are some great New Years Resolutions:

Move More: Daily walks, try a new activity (yoga, cycling), or simply sit less.
Eat Better: Add more fruits/veggies/whole grains, cook at home, stay hydrated, cut sugary drinks.
Prioritize Sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours with a consistent schedule and relaxing bedtime routine
Practice Mindfulness: Meditate, journal, practice gratitude, or simply be present.
Manage Stress: Schedule "me time," take breaks, find a hobby, learn to say "no", having monthly massages.
Get Outdoors: Spend time in nature daily for mental & physical boosts.
Learn Something New: Pick up a new skill or hobby.
Declutter: Organize your physical space for a clearer mind.

make sure to set realistic goals. Start off small like taking daily walks, Improving sleep with a better bedtime routine and adding more Whole Foods and veggies to your diet.

you don’t need a needle to stimulate a Acupuncture point! While I can’t practice Acupuncture at the Moment, I still incorporate point into my treatments. Stimulate points by applying firm pressure with a finger in a small circular motion at least 30 seconds.

Colder weather is approaching and this is the time to boost your bodies immune system!! In TCM we use nutrition! 3 G soup has great immune-boosting properties and used to help relieve cold symptoms like congestion. The warmth of the soup itself helps to clear mucus and relieve congestion better than cold liquids. I always add mushrooms which are good fortifying the lungs.
