To say the past two years were a blessing is certainly an understatement. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve our community in such an impactful way.
In September of 2023, Racheal sent Chenae a picture of a building with a “For Rent” sign in the window. Chenae replied, “Why did you send me that?”
“You always wanted to open your own clinic!”
Less than two months later, our doors were open and we were seeing patients.
We’ve made connections that will last a lifetime, and many of our clients have become like family.
We helped a mom with 18 years of pain finally receive a diagnosis and the care she needed.
We helped a woman who fell down the stairs and broke her neck reclaim her life and her freedom.
We helped a man with knee arthritis learn how to better manage his pain and stiffness so he could get back into the gym again.
We helped many women with pelvic pain reduce or eliminate embarrassing leaks, get rid of period pain, decrease their reliance on medications, and regain pleasure with intimacy.
We helped a family navigate hospice care through the end of life and feel hopeful throughout the process.
We had the honor of helping a woman return to functioning after falling and breaking her elbow. She was able to improve her quality of life and maintain her dignity through the end of her life.
We partnered with a man in his 90s after he was referred to us for back pain. We ended up helping with his back pain, knee pain, and balance issues, allowing him to age in place and enjoy his home in the safest way possible.
We hosted the BEST Ladies Night events and helped so many groups of women celebrate meaningful milestones with fabulous food, friends, and fun. We also hosted holiday events packed with crafts, education, and fellowship that we will remember and cherish forever!
We volunteered our time in the community - sharing at the library, Pitt-Bradford, the Zonta Women’s Club, and more, to spread the power of physical therapy education with anyone willing to listen.
We helped patients after TBIs, strokes, surgeries, falls, sprains, strains, fractures, and so much more. We worked with clients young and old, in our clinic and in their homes, across all ability levels, some coming from Smethport and even as far as Singapore, just to experience the RISE difference in quality of care.
We’ve cried with patients, laughed with them, played music with them, and have truly felt enriched by our experiences with this community over the last two years.
Thank you, Racheal, for believing in me and helping me actualize a dream I’ve had since 2010. Being a clinic owner is a 24/7 job. Every sleepless night, every frustrated phone call with other providers, every struggle we faced was worth it for the clients who said, “You saved my life,” or “Thank you for being the first person to actually listen to me.”
Serving people in pain and helping them navigate their way out of it is truly my passion, and I hope to one day be able to help even more people in this way.
For now, we’re stepping back to focus on our families, and we genuinely appreciate everyone’s understanding. We pray you all find the help you need in the meantime, and we’ll happily share here if we’re able to reopen in the future.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you. 💛💙
