Chelsea Shamburg: Certified Massage Therapist
What I Charge:
~ $50 for an hour massage
~ $30 for 30 minutes
What I offer:
~ Swedish Massage
~ Deep Tissue Massage
~ Hot Stone Massage It is also good for increasing the level of Oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improves circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
~ Deep Tissue Massage:
- Similar to the Swedish Massage, but with deeper pressure, which releases chronic muscle tension. It focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia. Fascia is the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones, and joints, also known as the connective tissue. Also there are times where stretches are used.
~ Hot Stone Massage:
- If requested, I can incorporate the hot stones in either style massage. Hot Stones are heated smooth stones that are used as an extension of my hands or are placed on the body to help relax and warm up the tight muscles so I can work deeper quicker. The stones are basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well and has been smoothed by natural forces in the river or sea. Hot Stones shouldn't be used if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or are on medication that thins their blood or if they are pregnant.
