We have been experiencing a remarkably busy week, with a diverse array of activities including trivia, Bible study, and bingo. This morning, we participated in a game of volleyball with Lori, followed by exercises, and then the ladies indulged in some pampering courtesy of Darcy. Notably, our ladies consistently look forward to nail day and their revitalized appearances. Thank you, Darcy and Lori, for visiting us today; our residents thoroughly enjoy their time with you. Thank you to the Church ladies from Lebanon Christian Church for providing Bible study on Tuesday; it was a fantastic service. Also, a big thank you to Betty, who comes in each Wednesday to do hair for our residents.

Hello and Happy Wednesday to all our esteemed friends and family. I observed Betty actively enhancing the appearance of our residents today. We appreciate her weekly visits to provide hair care services and ensure everyone has great hair. This morning, we convened a ladies' group to create Easter decorations and prepare for our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt. Prior to lunch, we assembled for chair exercises and reviewed the weekly weather forecast. This afternoon, we gathered for a game of bingo.

Happy St. Patrick's Day from everyone here at Smith Center Health and Rehab. Today was all about things green. This morning, we started our day with a shamrock coloring activity to display. Then, we had Bible study with Lebanon Christ, and we appreciate Kathy for providing services today. This afternoon, we concluded our Mardi Gras celebration with a parade through the building, finishing off in the dining room for green beer and green dirt cups with worms. Thank you to Chrissy Morgan, our Corporate Nurse, for capturing videos and pictures for us today; we truly appreciated that. A big thank you also to all the staff for your assistance - these events couldn't happen without all hands on deck. Fun was had by all, and the residents now have a nice collection of beads.

What a fantastic Monday! We commenced our day by decorating sugar cookies for St. Patrick's Day, which underwent testing and received approval. Subsequently, we crafted Mardi Gras masks for tomorrow's parade, a pre-planned event. This afternoon, we engaged in a game of Bingo, which was filled with laughter. I extend my gratitude to my little volunteers for their help today.

What a busy, enjoyable Friday we have had! This morning, we hosted friends and family from the community for giant cinnamon rolls and refreshments. Some of those rolls were bigger than our faces! They were so delicious! Before lunch, we convened for chair exercises and a discussion about the weather. This afternoon, we participated in a fun game of volleyball. We appreciate our SSD, Lori, for joining in on the fun, and our Administrator, Jim, for attending and participating in the activities as well! The residents always appreciate seeing Jim and enjoy it even more when he joins them in the fun. Many laughs were had, and we will all have a restful night's sleep tonight! 😂 We hope everyone has an amazing weekend. From all your friends here at Smith Center Health and Rehab! ❤️

Today was centered around nail care and bingo. I had some ladies request a refresh, so that's precisely what we did. Prior to lunch, we reviewed the significance of March and its notable events. We thoroughly enjoy any excuse to engage in bingo, and it undoubtedly fills the room with laughter.

Hello and happy Wednesday. On Tuesday, we engaged in inspirational storytelling prior to convening for Bible study with the American Lutheran Church, followed by a game of bingo. This morning, Lori visited and participated in games with residents, fostering socialization. We extend our sincere appreciation for her dedication. Today, Kristy and Katie showcased their culinary expertise in the kitchen. In response to a special request from one of our residents, they prepared homemade bierocks, which proved to be a resounding success. As we savored the homemade bierocks, Ken and his wife graciously visited us. Ken provided entertainment during our lunch period, skillfully playing the guitar, harmonica, and singing an array of impressive songs. We express our gratitude to Ken for his monthly performances, which bring immense joy to our residents.
