This weekend nine of our Smithfield Dolphins headed to Wilton, CT for the annual Thanksgiving Invitational meet. All nine swimmers swam exceptionally well and achieved a personal best time in at least one of their events over the three days. We are proud of all of the hard work they put in! Congratulations girls!

Yesterday at the State House the Y was honored to accept the Hope Award, nominated by Senator David P. Tikoian for being a leader in the non-profit community and assisting those in need.

Our amazing volunteer, Carol was also nominated as an exemplary volunteer for her work in the Y’s Nurturing Hope Food & Wellness Pantry! Carol has been instrumental in keeping our pantry operating and organized. We 🩷 you, Carol! Thank you is never enough.

Thank you, Senator Tikoian for nominating the Y and recognizing us as a leading non-profit in our community! We are truly humbled and blessed.

Please consider supporting the Smithfield YMCA's "A Season of Hope" Calendar Fundraiser! All proceeds will benefit the Nurturing Hope Food Pantry and our Community Scholarship Fund.

Did you know? At the Smithfield YMCA, no one is ever turned away due to their inability to pay! Through our Community Scholarship Fund, we’re proud to support individuals and families in times of need—keeping our community happy, healthy, and connected!

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by visiting the Y's Welcome Center or calling the Y at 949.2480 ext. 100! Our friendly staff will complete the raffle ticket for you and run your payment over the phone!

A huge shout-out to Tony's Pizza Palace for hosting a food drive to benefit our Nurturing Hope Food Pantry! We are blown away by the support of this amazing community. Our shelves are stocked, and we are well on our way to stocking our Thanksgiving Baskets for families in need, too! Grab a sandwich or pizza at Tony's and support a small business that is gracious enough to pay it forward!

What a weekend of giving! Thank you to Premeer Real Estate’s Team for organizing and donating so many amazing products to the Y’s food pantry! Also, thank you to Hawkins Hardwood Flooring for donating food and hygiene products to the Nurturing Hope Pantry! Our hearts and our pantry are full! We couldn’t do it with the generosity of the community that donated items at the drop off locations! There is so much good in the world! Thank you to everyone that had a hand in making this happen!

The American Physical Therapist Association of Rhode Island partnered with the Smithfield YMCA, providing a balance and fall risk assessment clinic for members!

It was an amazing day with over 50 members participating in the screenings! Thank you to all of the Physical Therapists that volunteered their time and thank you to Senator David P. Tikoian for attending and showing your support!

Thank you to Chris Whitten and Premeer Real Estate for coordinating "All Hands on Deck Community Food Drive", which will help support our Nurturing Hope Food Pantry. We truly appreciate your dedication, generosity, and commitment to serving our community!

Our communities need your help! 💙 All politics aside, MANY of our neighbors are going to be struggling to feed themselves and their families with this shutdown. Many of the people we see on a daily basis will be struggling behind closed doors, including our children's friends at school. We need to ALL come together to do our part for our communities!

HOW TO HELP:

1️⃣ Collect as many food & personal care items you can. Print off this flyer and tape it to a collection box at work, church, school, your kid's practice, etc. Raid your own pantry/closets, hit the store to purchase items then bring it ALL to one of our Premeer Real Estate offices THIS Sunday (11/2) between 9A-12P!

Personal Care: Shampoo, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Soap, Floss, Razors, Tissues, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Detergent...
