COMMUNITY EDUCATION EVENT

The Benson Police Department and Fire Department in collaboration with JoCo Angels Overdose Awareness and Support, Hope Center Ministries, Restoration Family Services, Inc, and Power of Praise Tabernacle of Deliverance will host a Community Education event about Fentanyl on Saturday, August 12 from 10am to 2pm at the Power of Praise Tabernacle (1100 S. Market Street in Benson).

The event will feature addiction recovery information, outreach resources, grief counseling resources, community impact information, and more. There will also be free food and live music and entertainment. Check out the flyer in this post for more info!

Emily Hosea is new managing director for CARF Behavioral Health and Opioid Treatment Programs

Hosea joined CARF in 2012 and served as the administrator for opioid treatment programs and a behavioral health resource specialist. Prior to joining CARF, Emily’s career was in direct service and utilization management in a variety of settings that focused on substance use disorders, mental health, and crisis intervention.
