Goal setting while waiting on a baby! Maybe being busy with this will encourage this baby to want to interupt my plans, and stop the whole back and forth game she's been playing with her mom. Maybe 😉

I have a lot of ideas on how to make 2026 even better than 2025 was... so I better get to work!

Can you believe it's almost the new year?!?! Wow. My calendar is filling up quick so if you are pregnant and are looking for a doula let's chat now!

🌟New Year's Resolution🌟
To stop over extending myself and that means doula-ing as well. Once the calendar is filled I won't be adding just one more" family. (Pretty sure that news makes my back up doula very happy 🤣🤣🤣)

Long birth recovery:
Two long births this week with families who creeped well past their "due" dates. I try to remember to take care of me while I take care of them, but I'd be lying if I said I did a good job with hydration. I mean, who wants to leave the room to p*e every hr? Not me 🤷‍♀️🤣.
So I make up for it in the days after. Not all the choices I make are for peak rehydration- clearly... but I'm definitely having the coffee, and that soda is absolutely a lovely treat for my taste buds. I will feel better by tomorrow and ready to go at it all again when needed.

I can't lie, there is just something special about repeat clients. The relationship is already established, and bonds are already formed. It's like meeting up with old friends for another birthday party. Love it.
That being said, if you're expecting reach out to me SOON. My calendar is filling up quickly, and I hate having to turn folks away.

2025's Vison Board centers around family, adventures, health, and work. BIG emphasis on family and adventures 😉. My words for 2025 are "Motivation" and "Presence." I want to enjoy today, the here and now, much more fully. And I want to stay motivated to make my vision and dreams come true. I truly believe that envisioning your future helps to manisfest it.

I love seeing all of my colleagues' 2024 recaps, so I decided to do one, too.

2024 was a slower year (on purpose). This year, I established many boundaries around my business and time off—and even held most of them. 🌟

I loved working with each family. Each family is a reminder of why I do this job.

Thank you to all the families who trusted me to support them through this transition. You are all amazing.💕

Happy New Year! Let's hope 2025 goes easy on us all.
