Our staff has the experience to help treat a wide variety of foot conditions. Dr. Ronald A. He also interned at San Francisco General Hospital.

At Sound Foot Care, PC, our number 1 priority is for each patient to receive the expert care they deserve including being comfortable with each part of their treatment. Washington received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University before going on to receive his medical degree in Podiatry from the University of San Francisco/California College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his Surgical Training at Fort Sill Military Base in Oklahoma. As a Postgraduate, he did his rotation in Dermatology at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California and Surgical Residency at San Francisco V.A. Hospital in conjunction with California College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Washington also has worked as a Respiratory Therapist in New York, Arizona, Florida, and California before and during his education in Podiatric Medicine. When he isn’t helping the people of Smithtown at Sound Foot Care, he is on call at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown. As a seasoned member of the podiatry community, Dr. Washington is aware of the many successful techniques and has used them in his practice.

Due to the summer sun and heat, walking barefoot without sunscreen applied is a recipe for disaster. Sound Foot Care wants to emphasize the importance of preventing foot sunburns by applying sunscreen and wearing proper shoes for the outdoors!
