This patient came to see me for eyelid rejuvenation. She felt her upper lids were droopy, giving her a tired appearance. I performed an upper eyelid blepharoplasty combined with laser fractionated CO2 resurfacing in the office under local anesthesia. By removing a small amount of excess skin from the upper eyelid and retexturing the full face skin, we were able to get this patient the bright eyed, freshened up look she wanted. .snehal_amin

Sometimes surgery sites don’t heal perfectly or the skin around them becomes lax as the patient ages. Here we injected a small amount of filler into the surgical scar to improve the contour and shadowing area. Fillers are composed of sugar gels which are non-allergenic. They last anywhere from six months to two years. The injection procedure takes about 30 seconds.

Tear trough aka lower eye lid filler before and after. My patient was concerned about shadows under eyes. In her case they are primarily the result of volume loss in the tear trough lower eyelid area. I treated her with 1 syringe of Belotero Filler. The result is immediate and there is no downtime associated with this procedure.

Posted • .snehal_amin My lovely patient who is in her 60s was concerned about loose sagging skin to her lower face and neck. I performed a mini face lift. This is a safe in office procedure performed with local anesthesia. Incisions are made behind the ear, so there are no visible scars on the face. There is mild soreness and minor bruising behind the ear for a week. This procedure does not have any facial bruising and down time is minimal. After the procedure we see a beautiful, defined contour of the jawline, neck and improvement in skin “sagging” of the lower face. On clinical exam I noted volume loss as the key cause for the dark circles and apparent lower eyelid uneven appearance. One syringe of Belotero injected using cannula technique. Raise your hand if dark, hollow under eyes are the bane of your existence. While eye creams might hydrate and slightly brighten the region, can make a more visible and immediate difference for those who are tired of tired-looking lower eyes.
