Becoming a doula has changed me in ways I never expected.
I’ve learned that birth isn’t about control, it’s about trust.
Trusting your body and instincts.
Trusting that you deserve to be heard, supported, and respected.
I’ve learned that no two births look the same, and that doesn’t make one more powerful than another.
What matters is how you feel in it.

This is what support can look like from a midwife. Yes, they are there for the more medical things like checking blood pressure, checking fetal heart tones, etc.. BUT! It can also look like this.

I was so privileged to work with the midwives at last week and the care that I witnessed them provide was truly so inspiring.🩷

I have another birth with them in May and I just can’t wait to work with them again!

Partners often wonder what type of support they could possibly give while the mom is working so hard on bringing their baby earth-side.

This dad didn’t need any reminders, he was right there during a very intense, very fast, birth.

So proud of this team.

💕 Having a backup doula that you can count on and trust is so important. While I was away this weekend, I had 2 clients go into labor. I was so incredibly sad to miss their birth but so thankful I had the coverage that I knew they were so well cared for and loved on. 🩷 Happy birth day, sweetie girl!

When you are new parents and you’ve just welcomed your precious new baby and are now responsible for feeding that baby, it can feel overwhelming.

I had seen first hand the difference it makes when parents prepare and educate themselves on means of feeding their baby before the big day. Less stress from mom/dad results in a more relaxed baby.

I never want this to be a barrier. So, I am including this in my package. Lindsay was a godsend with my 4th baby and one of my easiest breastfeeding journeys once we did some bodywork and tongue/lip tie revision. She’s worth her weight in gold, and I am so incredibly excited for my clients to feel just as supported as I did 5 months ago and still do. ☺️
