One of my favorite things is when clients send me photos — sweet baby toes and their dehydrated umbilical keepsake. 🌿✨
It’s such a beautiful reminder of how sacred the connection is between parent and baby, and how much intention goes into honoring that journey.

Ni**le shields can save a latch — but they shouldn’t be the first line of defense for every feeding challenge.
Hospitals often hand them out without a plan… and that can lead to supply issues, poor transfer, and long-term frustration.
You deserve real breastfeeding support, not quick fixes.
Informed choices = empowered feeding. 🤎

Feeling endlessly thankful for this work ✨
Being a doula means being invited into one of the most sacred, powerful moments of a family’s life — and that will never stop being an honor.
These are just a few photos from some of the beautiful births I’ve been welcomed into over the years. Every story, every strength, every moment of surrender and power… I carry it with me.
Thank you to the families who have trusted me to walk beside you. It is a blessing to witness birth in all its forms. 🤍

You know what’s wild?
People hear “VBAC” and act like you’re choosing danger…
when in reality, a repeat c-section often carries more risk,
but nobody wants to talk about that part.

We’re told to fear our bodies.
We’re told we’re “reckless” for wanting to birth naturally after a cesarean.
But somehow no one blinks at the idea of cutting a woman open again…
and again…
and again.

Nobody mentions that every repeat c section increases scar tissue,
makes future pregnancies riskier,
raises the chance of complications,
and comes with a harder recovery…
especially when you already have little kids at home who still need you.

But the moment we say we want a VBAC?
Suddenly we’re “unsafe.”
Suddenly we’re “ignoring medical advice.”
Suddenly we’re the problem.

Here’s the truth:
VBAC isn’t the risky choice.
The lack of support is.

Women are being pushed into surgeries they don’t need.
Not because their bodies can’t do it…
but because hospitals don’t want to change their policies,
adjust their staffing,
or put in the effort to support real birth options.

And moms are the ones paying the price.

So no… we’re not “rebellious.”
We’re informed.
We’re strong.
We’re fighting for the birth we deserve.

VBAC isn’t the danger,
the system failing women is.
