Towers Nursing Home

Towers Nursing Home We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

We couldn't believe our eyes as the clothing donations rolled in! Before these items were donated to our local community center, residents had a chance to pick a few things they wanted or needed! ✨️

It was so much fun watching everyone browse through the clothing and enjoy the little treasures they found! 💙

🎲✨ WHAT A NIGHT! Our 3rd Annual Casino Night was a huge success!

We had an amazing time at this year's Casino Night and raised a fantastic amount for our Residents' Christmas Fund! From the 50/50 raffle and bucket raffles to the live auction, delicious food, drinks, and of course — plenty of winning fun — we hope you all had as much fun as we did!

A huge THANK YOU to our generous local business sponsors and to everyone who came out to support our residents. Your kindness and community spirit make all the difference. We're already excited for next year!

LET'S ROLL! 🦕🧻 Our Activity team put together a new hand-eye coordination game called Dino Race. It's a fun and challenging game to race the dinos to the finish line without breaking the paper or letting go of their dino.

November is National Hospice & Palliative Care Month. This month, we honor the compassionate professionals who provide comfort, guidance, and dignity for individuals facing serious illness and end-of-life care. Their support not only eases physical symptoms — it brings peace, connection, and reassurance to residents and their loved ones. 🕊️

At every stage of life, each person deserves to be treated with respect, surrounded by comfort, and supported in the ways that matter most. We are grateful to collaborate with hospice and palliative care partners who help ensure every resident’s final chapters are filled with meaning and care. 💙

During World Diabetes Month, we spotlight the crucial role of diabetes care in the skilled nursing setting. Managing diabetes is about more than numbers—it's about personalized care plans, daily support, and empowering each individual with the tools they need to maintain their health.

If you haven't been diagnosed, it's important to watch for possible signs:
🔺 Urinating often
🔺 Feeling very thirsty
🔺 Feeling very hungry—even though you're eating
🔺 Extreme fatigue
🔺 Blurry vision
🔺 Cuts or bruises that are slow to heal
🔺 Unintended weight loss—even though you're eating more
🔺 Tingling, pain, or numbness in the hands or feet
