Our fantastic Education Program Coordinator, Will Henry, is manning the Reeling in Serenity booth at this year’s fly fishing show in Edison, New Jersey for the second year in a row 💜

Reeling in Serenity will be at booth number 1239 next to

Each day we will have raffle tickets available for purchase to for a chance to win some goodies! All proceeds go directly to RiS and our mission.

Fish Hawk Fly Show Details!
January 30th 9:30AM-6PM; January 31st 9AM-5PM
Location: The Fish Hawk, 764 Miami Circle Suite 126, Atlanta, GA 30324

Due to the cancellation of the Atlanta Fly Fishing Show, The Fish Hawk is hosting our own fly show to help get Atlanta’s anglers through the winter doldrums! The event will be packed with great brands showcasing new products for 2026, local clubs and non-profits, other local fly shops, fly tiers, and more! The event will take place January 30th-31st at The Fish Hawk (764 Miami Circle, Suite 126, Atlanta, GA 30324) where we will be shutting down our parking lot and putting up an enclosed, heated tent to host the event. The show will take place from 9:30am-6pm on Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday. The event will be free to attend, and those that show up will be eligible for door prizes and giveaways from our great vendors!

Today, 1/1/2026 marks nine years of sobriety for our Community Outreach Director & Founding Staff Member, Jen!!

And on Monday, 12/29/2025, our Co-Founder and Executive Director Sylvia celebrated eight years of sobriety!!

Congratulations to two of our biggest inspirations.

Reeling in Serenity is hosting a FREE fly fishing meetup in North Georgia. We are going to Frog Hollow, a beautiful private water location on the Chestatee. Thanks to Kenny for hosting us. This event will be barbless hooks only, catch and release with an emphasis on proper release techniques. For any newer angler who comes, we have some seasoned fishers to help support you. Let us know if you need to borrow any gear when you sign up. This is a family friendly property with a small farm and an outhouse.

Our last Reeling In Serenity retreat for 2025 was a major success! Thank you to the 320 Guest Ranch in Montana for hosting our event again this year. All our volunteers and participants had an amazing time. Recovery journeys were shared by all which takes a lot of courage and we truly appreciate everyone being so open about their personal struggles with addiction and recovery.
None of these retreats would be possible without Becca Klein whose vision to help those in recovery find peace through fly fishing and sharing the true beauty of being on the water and being part of nature was her mission. Our Reeling in Serenity family is honored to continue Becca's legacy and we look forward to 2026 for more retreats. Thank you to everyone for supporting Reeling in Serenity ❤️.

The Chattahoochee River is where Becca found purpose, discovered fly fishing, & built a beloved community. After lunch, we’ll walk to Unicoi Outfitters to unveil a commemorative bench & offer a final tribute beside the river she championed.
