Activity: Ladies of the Strings Dulcimer Group Performance

Story: On Thursday, we enjoyed a wonderful dulcimer performance by The Ladies of the String. Marsha Arnold, Carol Cartwright, and Barbara Sullivan treated us to a beautiful mix of traditional Appalachian selections and classic hymns. It was a joy to sing along to favorites like "Precious Lord," "I’ll Fly Away," "Mansion Over the Hilltop," and "Amazing Grace." Music truly does feed the soul and crosses cultural boundaries like nothing else can. Thank you for such a soulful afternoon!

Activity: Spring Program

Story: Ms. Cornelia has been attending weekly choir rehearsals at the senior center, preparing for their spring program—and today was the big day! Her excitement and anticipation have been building for weeks.

This morning, it was all hands on deck to help her feel her very best. We styled her hair, she picked out a beautiful outfit, and she proudly wore her adorable daisy earrings—gifted by a fellow resident’s family member.

Watching her light up with joy and confidence was such a special reminder of the power of connection and purpose. We couldn’t be more proud of her!
