Rex and Levi stopped by our community today, and what a treat it was! It’s been a little while since their last visit, but they never miss a beat when it comes to bringing the energy. These two best friends are out there living the dream, writing some pretty great songs, and sharing their talents with us.

Our residents absolutely loved their music, their spirit, and the joy they bring into the room. We’re already looking forward to the next time they visit!

Story: Every Wednesday, Brother Ernie faithfully joins us to sing, worship, and share a meaningful word that nourishes our residents’ spirits. His visits bring comfort, connection, and peace to the middle of our week.

Today, we also enjoyed a special treat and sweet fellowship together — a simple reminder of how uplifting it is to gather, share, and feed both the soul and the heart.

Today’s men’s group was a whole adventure. First, we headed out on a duck-hunting mission, and before long the men were dealing cards and calling the shots in their own game. Love seeing their confidence and camaraderie shine.

Today’s lunch outing took us to El Pueblo Mexican Restaurant. The staff was so friendly, the food was delicious, and our crew loved every bite.

We’re happy to share a construction milestone—our new front door has been installed today. It’s already filling the space with beautiful natural light, and this upgrade will make our community even more efficient, accessible, and easy to navigate. One of our residents, Steve, got to be the first to walk through it—and he approves!

Story: Blake from the Tennessee Health Department visited this afternoon with a fun brain game that our residents loved. Activities like this help stimulate thinking, support memory, and give a meaningful boost to intellectual wellness — especially for those living with dementia or memory changes.

This afternoon a resident requested a little country music—and of course, we turned it up! Before long, he was ready to dance, and one of our sweet family members stepped in to share a dance with him. Moments like these make our community feel extra special.

Michele with Monkeys Creations stopped by and brought wreath kits for us to make for the upcoming holiday season. It was such a neat experience — something different that everyone really enjoyed. A great way to kick off the festive spirit!
