Less than 3.8% of US dentists are black. Atlanta dentist Dr. Jarrett Manning is hoping to change that statistic with her nonprofit “Beyond Her Smile,” an organization dedicated to exposing young black girls to the world of dentistry.

Meet Dr. Melanie Evans
We are very excited to welcome Dr. Melanie Evans to the JLM Dental Studio family.
 
Dr. Melanie Evans has served the Atlanta community since 2019. She specializes in implants and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Evans provides impeccable service and care when it comes to her patients. She is incredibly thorough, and she goes the extra mile by treating patients as individuals and encouraging them to ask questions. Dr. Evans has committed herself to providing the highest quality of care possible, while keeping patients fully informed of the available treatment options.
 
Dr. Evans received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia, a Master of Science degree from Georgia State University, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. She completed residency training at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. While in residency, she received advanced multidisciplinary training to further expand her expertise in cosmetic procedures and surgical techniques for implant placement, bone grafting, surgical dental extractions and endodontics.
  
Dr. Evans resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the American Dental Association. In her free time, she is an avid golfer and tennis player. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
 
Dr. Evans brings all her knowledge, passion, and talent to her patients, using the latest techniques to artistically transform smiles. She looks forward to working with you to achieve your dental goals.
