3 things keeping you in the picky eating cycle:

1. Your child has broken trust with himself, you, and/or food

2. There’s too much pressure at and around mealtime

3. Your child hasn’t yet learned the skills for eating

These are tangible things we work on in the Picky Eating Fix. Not making cute Pinterest meals.

This is what’s it’s about ⬇️

1. Your child must feel safe at the table: this is more than just about seating, although that is important too

2. Your child must rebuild trust with you, their food, and themselves

3. Pressure needs to be removed from the table (yes, that means you ➡️ no more bribing or begging)

4. Teaching your child how to eat (yes, it’s a learned skill)

5. Your child’s nervous system needs regulating

I wasn’t taught this, were you?

This is why I’ve created the Picky Eating Fix.

Mealtimes don’t have to be stressful.

Picky eating is not a required phase.

It’s time to stop wishing and hoping it will be better and take action. The longer you wait the harder it gets.

Trust. Me.

“Within 4 weeks, her son was calmer, sleeping better, and trying new foods. 👀”

This mom came to me feeling hopeless. Her 8-year-old’s ADHD meds had stopped working and mealtime was a war zone.

After starting The Picky Eating Fix, they rebuilt calm, confident meals — and she got her happy kid back.
If that sounds like the peace you’re craving, this is your sign.

Why your two bite method is failing….

I believed for many years that requiring your kids to take bites “just to try” was a good strategy.

I taught my own kids that they had to take as many bites as they were old before they could be done with a meal.

It worked for awhile. But then it stopped.

Kids went into full picky eater mode. I got tired. And maybe a little lazy.

Then I got fed up.

I knew there had to be a better way.

I dug deep into the psychology of eating and mealtime for both neurotypical and neurodivergent kids.

What I learned was truly shocking, especially to my brain that was raised in the 80s and 90s and learned that the clean plate club was only way to get dessert.

I learned that everything I knew about feeding children was wrong.

It was very humbling.

And I didn’t admit it for awhile.

But God had other plans for me.

I soon became blessed with clients who came to me looking for holistic solutions to picky eating and mealtime battles.

And I had discovered what they needed.

Forcing, coercing, bribing, or even encouraging is NOT the way to help your kiddo overcoming picky eating OR bring back peace to the table.

My framework is.

We remove power struggles.

We address sensory and developmental needs.

We introduce foods in a very specific way.

We change how we talk at the table.

We bring back fun to mealtime.

If you have a picky eater you are in the right place 🤍🤍🤍

It’s not your fault, but your approach is broken 😞

Being a parent of a picky eater is HARD.

You’ve tried everything yet someone else always knows what best.

The amount of food waste in your garbage could feed a small country.

You are exhausted. You are sick of prepping food that just gets rejected. And you are sick of feeling like you can’t get your kid to eat healthy food.

You sacrifice your own health and well-being for your child. You gain weight. You stop moving. And now you are exhausted, feel like crap and are supposed to show up for your kid?

It’s not your fault, but your approach is broken.

You have likely tried one of these approaches:

• “Just take one bite”
• “If you take one bite you can have your tablet”
• “You need to put it in your all done bowl”
• You try to wait out your child (hint: they always win)
• “If you finish your peas you can have ice cream”
• A sticker chart to earn a toy or tablet time

Do any of these sound familiar?

Maybe you’ve raised the white flag; thrown in the towel. And now your kid gets whatever they want whenever they want.

Maybe you ask them at every meal what they want to eat so you end up making 2 or more meals every night.

I’m here to tell you there is another way. And it works.
