LIKELY HOSPICE, OlOld Dog HavenOSTER HOME FOUND!
(W. Washington state or Portland, OR only)
Mini American eskimo, neutered male who weighs 18 pounds. This gorgeous, playful guy probably has lymphoma/leukemia though he needs further diagnostics to determine exactly what type (or maybe tests so far aren't right!). Survival can be a few months to a year or so, depending on exactly what it is.
He went to shelter because of difficulty with the 18-month-old child; he can be protective of food as well. In his temporary home, he's been loving and gentle, is housebroken and crate-trained. He's a bit of a homebody (became nervous walking around a market) at least now with new people but well behaved. He's playing (loves tennis balls) and cuddly. Probably shouldn't live with a cat - but he's been great with dogs. He needs an OlOld Dog Havenome who can get him through the needed vet care and stick with him - he sounds like a wonderful guy.
