Peanut pod blasting will be offered at the Farmers Market (470 US-13, Snow Hill, NC 28580) on September 10th and 18th, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM.

Farm visits for peanut pod blasting can be scheduled as well.

We’re gearing up for the Fall 2025 pesticide classes! All sessions will be held in the Greene County Farmers Market (470 US-13, Snow Hill, NC 28580).

In Conjunction with the Holiday Market Event at the Farmers Market, we will also be hosting the First Annual Kids Biz at the Market!

Do you know a budding entrepreneur? A kid with a calling? A mini-maker? On November 8th, we are hosting a Kids Biz event! Youth are invited to set up a booth to sell their products, or sell their services with the opportunity for cash prizes! Categories include Most Original Idea, Best Display, and Most Business Potential! If your youth just has a vague idea of what they want to do and want some help, please reach out to Ms. Jessica at the Extension Office. Registration is required by November 1st. Greene County will be a testing location for pesticide exams on August 18th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 470 US-13 Snow Hill, NC 28580.
