❤️ Thank You to Ashlie’s Embrace ❤️

We are deeply grateful to Ashlie’s Embrace for the generous donation of a Cuddle Cot to Cogdell Memorial Hospital OB department.

A Cuddle Cot provides families experiencing stillbirth or infant loss with more precious time to spend with their baby—time for bonding, photographs, memory‑making, and moments that can be profoundly meaningful in the grieving process.

Ashlie’s Embrace is a nonprofit organization that provides these cooling units to hospitals across the United States, supporting families during one of the most difficult experiences imaginable. Their compassion and commitment make a real difference, and we are honored to have their support in our unit.

Thank you, Ashlie’s Embrace, for helping us provide gentle, dignified, and supportive care to families in our community.

Meet Dr. Kendra Williams —

Dr. Kendra Williams is a proud West Texas native, raised in Hamlin, TX, and deeply committed to serving rural communities. A graduate of Hamlin High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with a minor in Biochemistry from McMurry University in Abilene. She continued her medical journey at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD).
Dr. Williams completed her Family Medicine Residency through the Texas Tech University Permian Basin Family Medicine Rural Track, training extensively in full scope family medicine with obstetrics. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, reflecting her dedication to providing safe, high-quality care for patients of all ages.

As a full spectrum Family Medicine physician, Dr. Williams provides:

• Preventive care and routine checkups
• Chronic disease management
• Women’s health and obstetrics
• Newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric care
• Inpatient care
• Personalized counseling for healthy living
• Coordination of specialty care when needed

Dr. Williams is passionate about caring for families through every stage of life. She looks forward to building lasting relationships and contributing to the health and well-being of her patients. She is accepting patients now.

January 2026 Baby Photos are in!! 👶🏼👶🏽👶🏻
The baby who gets the most likes and loves on their picture will receive a free canvas print. If your baby was born and not pictured, we either do not have the consent form signed or the disk made it home with mom before we were able to save a picture.
📸 Photo credits go to our awesome OB nursing staff. Each family takes home a file of their babies photos taken in our very own boutique style photo studio.
