If you've been in to see us lately you might have seen a new face around the clinic. Alyssa started working with us at the beginning of October as a rehab tech. You might see her assisting patients with exercises, checking patients in, prepping supplies that the therapists need, and helping keep our clinic clean and organized! When Alyssa is not here with us, she can be found attending classes at WTC, working out at Cogdell Wellness Center, or spending time with friends and family!

Does the world have you spinning? Do you ever get up from lying down or stand up too quickly and see the world spin before your eyes? This is sometimes referred to as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. This is caused by canoliths (rock-like structures) in the inner ear that misinform the brain and eyes regarding your balance and equilibrium. Did you know there is something you can do about besides medication?!? Physical therapy utilizes canolith repositioning techniques to help with vertigo symptoms caused by the inner ear. If this is you or you know someone who suffers from dizziness related to vertigo, please share this information with them and see if physical therapy can help you!
