💔 What would you do if a coworker collapsed at work? 💔

Every minute without CPR decreases a person’s chance of survival by 10%.
That means in just 5 minutes, survival odds are cut in half.

🫀 CPR and AED skills aren’t just nice to have—they save lives.
⚡ But here’s the difference: real training from an experienced, career-long firefighter and Fire Marshal gives your team the confidence to act when it matters most.

🚩 FIRE WEATHER WATCH = TIME TO PREPARE 🚩
With wildfires already sparking this season, it’s clear we’re back in the swing of things. 🔥 Monday brings high fire danger across the Northern and Central Sacramento Valley due to strong winds and low humidity from 2 AM to 8 PM.

Even though this is a Fire Weather Watch (not a full Red Flag Warning yet), conditions can escalate fast. Preparation now prevents panic later.

✅ Pack a Go Bag
✅ Know 2 evacuation routes
✅ Review your family or workplace emergency plan
✅ Check your evacuation zone

At Heart First Training — Emergency Preparedness, we go beyond standard CPR and first aid by helping businesses prepare for real-world threats like wildfire readiness, earthquake response, and more—before it becomes an emergency.

🔥 Attention, Northern California! 🔥

At Heart First Training, we often hear about the importance of listening to warnings for hurricanes and tornadoes, but we need to extend that same level of vigilance to Red Flag Fire Warnings. As we enter this time of year, the Northern dry winds bring heightened fire risks, and we must be proactive in our preparations.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Red Flag Warning for Solano County from Tuesday, November 5th at 11 AM until Thursday, November 7th at 7 AM. This warning is due to low relative humidity and gusty northerly winds, creating conditions ripe for wildfires.

✅ Here are some important steps to take:
- Stay Informed: Keep an eye on weather updates and alerts.
- Prepare Your Home: Clear away dry leaves and debris near your property and create defensible space.
- Have a Plan: Make sure you know your evacuation routes and have a go-bag ready.

Let’s stay vigilant and prioritize safety during this critical time! Together, we can help protect our homes and communities. Stay safe! 🌲🔥

🔥 Wildfire Preparedness Go Bag Essentials! 🔥
As a seasoned Fire Battalion Chief, I know the importance of being ready at a moment's notice. When those flames approach, you've got to act fast often times you have 2 minutes notice. Here's what you need in your Go Bag:

1. **Important Documents**: IDs, insurance papers, medical records – keep them in a waterproof pouch.
2. **Medication & First Aid Kit**: Pack a 7-day supply of meds, plus a comprehensive first aid kit.
3. **Emergency Clothing**: Sturdy clothes, extra underwear, and sturdy shoes.
4. **Hygiene Supplies**: Toothbrush, wipes, sanitizer – stay fresh in any situation.
5. **Portable Phone Charger**: Communication is key, keep your devices powered up.
6. **Flashlight & Batteries**: Light your path even in darkness.
7. **Non-Perishable Food**: Granola bars, canned goods – energy when you need it.
8. **Water**: Stay hydrated, aim for at least 1 gallon per person per day.
9. **Cash**: ATMs might be down, so have some cash on hand.
10. **Multi-Tool**: Versatile tool for various situations.
