Board Vacancy Announcement

The Soledad Community Health Care District has a vacancy on its Board of Directors, effective January 22, 2026.

Community members who are interested in serving are invited to apply. The Board will appoint an individual to fill this vacancy at its February 19, 2026 Board Meeting at 4:00 PM.

💚 Community Impact at Work 💚

We are proud to share that Eden Valley Care Center has been awarded an annual grant of approximately $20,000 from the Community Foundation for Monterey County through the Margaret L. Musser Restricted Fund.

This generous support directly strengthens the operations of Eden Valley Care Center and helps ensure continued, compassionate care for our residents and families.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Community Foundation and to the legacy of Margaret L. Musser for investing in the health, dignity, and well-being of our seniors and our South Monterey County community.

Together, we continue building a healthier future.

We’re proud to share that our Foundation has been selected to participate in this year’s Monterey County Gives! campaign. 💙

Through the incredible support of our community, we’ve already been able to replace several beds at Eden Valley Care Center — and our residents feel the difference every day. Now our goal is to finish the job and complete the upgrade for the remaining beds.

Each modern, specialized bed costs approximately $3,000, and provides comfort, safety, mobility support, and dignity for the residents who rely on them.
With your help, we can finish this project and ensure every resident has a bed that truly supports their well-being.
