Whew, what a year it has been already.

Hard to believe the holiday season is almost upon us. I am busy in the Apothecary for the upcoming weeks getting everything prepped for our holiday sale.

This time of year is such a juxtaposition with natural law. Our earth is going to rest, calling us inward, to slow down, to be quiet and still, to nourish ourselves as we enter the darkest part of the year.

And there's also a frantic holiday frenzy filled with travel, family, gifts, consumerism, and chaos. Pushing, pushing, pushing into the new year with new goals for a new you.

When do we rest & take care of ourselves? There's such a mix of grief, excitement, gratitude & unrealistic expectations in the holiday season, it's SO important to take care of ourselves. This stress & increased indoor time can cause a lot of illness as well.

I hope you can lean into our herbal remedies during these times. We WILL be having our big sale this year, with an early shopping period for newsletter subscribers so make sure you're receiving those!

I'm almost ready to drop everything & rest but still have some prepping to do before that happens. We will have lots of herbal body oils, elixirs, salves, teas, tonics & some special seasonal items for you & your loved ones this season.

WYRD is an Ancient Nordic concept that describes our fate, our destiny, as woven by the Norns. This calming oil made with fresh lavender grown on our land soothes nerves and releases tension, allowing our destiny to unfold as it has been foretold.

This lovely lavender oil helps us release our need for control and surrender to our fate. In Norse Mythology, the concept of Wyrd relates to our fate, our destiny, the path that has been foretold by the Norns.

The Norns sit at the base of Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life, weaving and predicting the paths and fates for us all. Do you need help surrendering and allowing your path to unfold before you?

This oil has a lovely scent and is incredibly soothing for our nervous system, and deeply relaxing. It's wonderful for supporting deep sleep, helping with anxiety and stress, easing belly aches, burns, cut scrapes - you name it!

A gentle beeswax salve for easing the tenderness, bruising, and swelling that can come from injuries, strains, sprains & all types of other activities. The arnica-infused oil greatly improves healing time and provides quick relief to the injury site.

Our homegrown Arnica flowers are infused in an organic oil to extract all the medicinal benefits, which are absorbed through the skin when applying this beeswax balm. Arnica is wonderful for healing the delicate soft tissue injuries, fading bruises, easing sore muscles, and supporting an optimal healing process for these types of injuries.

it has been a WILD year. how is it already mid-october?!

Now that the growing season has come to an end & there's more time for reflection, I'm amazed at what we've been able to accomplish in this cycle of the wheel of the year. My personal life has been filled to the absolute brim with glorious twists & turns, challenges & triumphs. My capricornian self has felt like I'm getting nothing done at times, but when I zoom out it's kind of incredible what we achieved despite all the obstacles & setbacks.

Earlier this year, we were officially recognized by as a botanical sanctuary. We planted hundreds of native wildflowers, expanded the orchard, expanded the gardens and had baskets of fresh medicinal herbs constantly shuffling in & out of the apothecary. We expanded our product line, invested in new packaging, took on more wholesale accounts & made big improvements to the website. We received a grant to grow even more med

There is more brewing behind the scenes than I can share right now, but I'm hopeful to have more energy to share with you in this space soon as the physical demands of the season wind down!

Our Herbal Hot Cocoa is back in stock & perfect for these crispy fall days.
